London, UK -- Rainbow is set to wow the crowds at MIPJunior 2013 in Cannes with a brand new kids show,Royal Academy.
Royal Academy is a hilarious and exciting new take on some of our best-loved fairy tales and focuses on the adventures of Rose Cinderella, the newest student at Royal Academy. She is also the granddaughter of one of the school’s founding families – as are her new classmates Hawk Snowwhite, Travis Beast, Pearl Rapunzel and Violet LeFrog. These five famous fairy tale families not only run the school but also the lives of their grandchildren – or at least they try to! When the fairy tale clans aren’t fighting with each other, they’re butting heads with Rose and the rest of the new generation, who have their own ideas about what the life of a ‘Prince Charming’ or a ‘Damsel in Distress’ is all about!
The new comedy series, aimed at kids aged 5 to 10, features 26 half-hour episodes and the combination of sumptuous animation and engaging and exciting storylines is sure to delight and entertain audiences across the world! Rainbow’s outstanding pedigree in the field of kids entertainment shows the potential for Royal Academy, having been behind one of the biggest hits of recent years in the shape ofWinx Club – the show about young fairies that is now onto its sixth series!
